6A Chalet'09

**UPDATE**

- Remember to bring socks for iceskating! *edit* and gloves too.

Date: 16th to 18th November [Monday to Wednesday]

Venue: Costa Sands Resort Pasir Ris

Room: Duplex room, $192.

Check-in time: 2.30-3pm

Check-out time: 10.30am

The stuff we may be doing are ice-skating, bowling, cycling, roller-blading, card games, watching movies, mahjong, etcetera.

You'll have to bring roughly 2 sets of clothes and 2 sets of nightwear. Doubt you'll need extra clothing since we wont be going ETP or WWW. Also, own toothbrushes, towels, cards, and anything else you can think of.

Estimated cost to pay for chalet, $19.20. Subject to changes, depending on the number of people going.

Food, drinks and entertainment excluded from the chalet price. Should be around 30 bucks or less. Eat more eat less drink more drink less play more play less, how much you wanna eat/drink/play decides how much you'll need.

Thats about all bah.

Hey guys, this is regarding our class gatherings. If you all have realised, it has been very difficult to get money from everyone during gatherings. Well, I am suggesting that we make a class fund which would facilitate this. So maybe everyone 2 months, we can each give a sum of money to the fund so that in case we have a gathering in the future, we can use the money from there. Or, we can just give one lump sum. With the class fund, logistics and fees can be easily handled without the trouble of getting people to pay the fees one by one every time which wastes both time and effort. Of course, If we really want to do this, we would need a treasurer, someone responsible enough to keep the money safe. This is something which the class would decide on .Please comment on this at the tagboard and also state who you would want to be the treasurer. Cheers! =D

Hi, 6A! abt our class gat in june…

firstly~!....hjh...(hwajin's house) pros...
1)we have shelter...so no need scared rain...if we outside...then rain...then we go in and wreck his interior lor...
2)and...location wise...is less troublesome...coz its not AN ISLAND AWAY....
3)may receive good hospitality from his family...especially his dad...coz i heard he likes to host...

cons...
1)maybe hard to find...coz its LANDED PROPERTY....whch means its most likely in some ulu ulu lane...and u guys will have to walk from the bus-stop....unless u got a ride(from keefe...or other alternatives) straight to his house...
2)maybe slightly small.....compared to AN ISLAND....sentosa...which is pretty obvious...haha...
so...like cannt cycle...unless u got to parks...but then you'll have to bring ur own bike....which u may not have....or cant bring due to transportation issues or parental constrains...(woo....all of a sudden....im sounding chim...wahahahaha!!)
3) if we swim....we may drown...coz there's a 2.7 metre deep pool with a jacuzzi... and a basement with windows tht can see all the way up to the top of the pool,not to mention a theatre...which means if the window breaks,water will flow in and we will drown...(and obviously im kidding...im just describing how magnificent his house is...so dun tell ur parents say..wah..they say we will drown leh......wakakakaka!!)

pros...

1)it being an island is obviously bigger than hwajin's house...means more things to do...
2)location wise...its more POPULAR....MUCH MUCH MORE...means more people would go...and know where it is...so...if u get lost..u can just ask for directions... and u can just take train to harbourfront and skytrain over...or take the CABLE CAR!!!...woohoo...
3)..there are rides lar...lyk...the luge...and....the luge....and...the luge.............did i mention the luge?

now...the cons...
1)..rain then die....dunno where hide....and needa wait for spaces if its too crowded at eateries....
2)overpriced rides...as kellynn would say...coz she checked and they say... the luge + the sky ride...$10 per trip...and they made it sound a lot nicer...coz...if u wanna take the luge...u gotta take the skyride...haha!!...

hehh, i damn long never post class blog liao lor>< anyways. yesterday we were in keefes car on the way back right..the ecp gathering. andden we agreed june chalet is too long away, a bit buitahan ah wait so long. so, may 1st labour day holiday hor. its a friday lah, and im guessing a lot of people have no excuses to not come. so yeah details.

venue: sentosa
time: as long as possible

hahas yeah agreed on sentosa cause our gatherings all like never go there before. entrance fees is 3 bucks. quite okay lah, so people cant complain its over ex or something. then the rides, if wanna ride then pay more lor. but not worth lah, andden people will complain ex-.- so we can like just pay 3 bucks, get in and see how. there quite big what. then got beach and stuff, confirm wont bored one. and still can play cards(: err, kay then. i THINK im the organiser for may 1st lah. or maybe i can pester keefe/rachel/daniel/yiying yeah. people who can make it/think they can make it tagggg. if cannot also tag lahs anyway.

oh yeah then chalet. i think daniels asking sarah if can get the bungalow chalet. but see first lah, if not we go book the like last year that oneroom chalet. june holidays, find a time when everyone can make it lah. okay maybe not everyone>< but STILL. i think more people would wanna stay over this time..? ah wells.

err..i realised i forgot to add in the details- SOWWIEE!!~ okay so.
kallang ice world. located inside kallang leisure park beside kallang threatre, opposite singapore indoor stadium..or at least thats what i saw..
to go hor..very easy de, option 1: get your whoever send you there
option 2: take taxi
option 3: public transport. mrt is the fastest and easiest lar.. ok so you take to kallang mrt. then walk out, theres a bus stop. wait at the bus stop for the shuttle bus, it'll take you right outside subway which is at kallang leisure park. go to the third floor, thats the ice rink. if the shuttle bus timings screwed, -probably will arrange suitable timing for us to go lar but just in case-, then walk out, NOT THAT BUS STOP HOR. turn right and walk down the pathway..cross the road, theres another bus stop there. take bus 11 until kallang leisure park. if you dont know, just ask the driver tell you when you reach but for information, its the third bus stop. oh and btw, the shuttle bus timings at this website can go see even though the timing -when we go lar- not fixed yet. http://leisurepark.com.sg/shuttle.html
option 4: fly there.

entrance fees: 13 per person if you never bring ezlink you pay one buck extra-.-
skates rental: 3.50 if you have skates bring it lar..budden i dun think anyone got-.-
socks rental: either 2 bucks or 3 bucks, you're strongly advised to bring your own socks dun waste money..and wear ankle socks at your own risk, i wore ankles andden got blisters, a lot of em T.T cause the skates are high. best is wear two pairs of socks or wear thick socks, if you dun wan blisters, this is through experience.
gloves rental: same as socks. but i got extra la..if you need ask me. and anyway if you have bring your own..for info if you no gloves you'll be forced to buy because you're not allowed to skate without gloves dont ask me why.
okay..andden wear properly hor..if you scared cold. even though there not that cold la but whatever la later people screw me for being a lousy organiser..
andden er. its best if we go like er..skate from 2pm. because they clean the ice at 1pm and 4pm. and they take damn long. and you're not allowed to skate while they're cleaning the ice. so you will still pay, but you wont get to skate. so best is our timings dont clash. and if you overtime, very easy de, just pay money lor-.-
